My favorite Fishing Diary episode

Fished it in 92 and 93 and we had a blast. We hardly had a clue what we were doing out of Wilf rocks in a 14' Hourston glascraft with a 35 h.p. motor but we were lucky and got a few up to 42 lbs. Coho at catface were lights out on flies and stingsildas. Yep good memories

I work with terry!! "Dogger is a great guy" a lot ocd,, but a great guy..

I remember the episode , learnt how to cut plug and needed a bigger net. used to fish sooke for a few years in a 14' tinny with no riggers, buzz bombs or trolled with weights with little success. Tried cut plugging and had some good days , landed a 38# by hand because it would not fit in the net. now its electric downriggers etc., really should try cut plug again definitely more skill and attention needed. Thanks for the post

saw the video clip....yeah, I remember the year in 1990, Alberni Inlet, Barkley Sound, and Tofino s water were full of Robertson Creek chinooks..lots of boats, lots of fish. good times! I never been to Wilf Rock, but recognize Meares Island in the video clip.
