DFO supplyed 160k chinook fry to muchalat lk fish pen, that is much bigger than previos years to accomadate more fish.Seems like a big risk putting all the fry this year into one pen, and taking it away from dock to open water to feed them by automated feeder at a unattended site .Last I seen there was pollen rings around the small meash rearing facility . Chinook came from Conuma hathery ,not sure if they are gold river brood stock.
just beyond and infront is mt stevens and conuma riv watershed. surface lake temp was 58-60 ,62 off some exposed creeks.
