Installing Flush Mount rod holders

Hello again,

I am preparing to mount a pair of Flush Mount Gunnel rod holders. I am unsure of the proper angle to get. I see 0 degree, 15 degree, and 30 degree.

I plan to mount my electric Penn 835 Downrigger on the flush mount with the http://www.pennreels.com/01_products/downrigger/downrigger.htmPenn 632 or 634 Quick Mount. Unfortunately, the Penn website does not list the angle of the quick mount... If it did, I would just match the angle of the quick mount to the flush mount I purchase.

Questions:
1. Which Angle 0/15/30 degrees?
2. Which Brand - solid enough to work with downrigger? e.g. C.E. Smith, etc...

Thank you for your help!

Okay I have researched some more - it looks like 30 degree angle is the standard flush mount rod holder angle.

Question: what is a good brand name to pursue that will hold up to the downrigger and saltwater? Thanks in advance.
