Here's an update from our neck of the woods:)

The morning started off for us with the alarm going off at 2:50AM
Off to Port Darlington for King Salmon

I had to put the flip flops to this one! Dreamweaver Spin Dr and Fly combos were hot!!!

Part 2 of our Day-Long Point Bay, Lake Erie ( near Port Dover)

We met up with our family at the cottage and Al and I went out with his Dad for a few hours

Jeezuz, those Great Lakes Rainbows are sweeeet looking. Reminds me of when I was a kid and fished Huron from Pt Edward.

The Spring Fishery looks solid for sure . Man that was a productive day by the looks of things.

Whats been the deal with plantings as of late?

I knew of the Coho, Chinook and what you guys refer to as the Pinook

What was that in the pic?

The 4th picture down is a Lake Ontario Rainbow, all the other Lake Ontario fish are Chinook. The second to last picture is a Lake Erie Rainbow.

Lake Erie doesn't stock Coho or Chinook. They stock Browns, Lake Trout and Rainbows. Last year was our best year on Lake Erie for Rainbows and not so good for Walleye
