A 6 3/4 and almost 9 lb laker. Took 2 buddies fishing and I got skunked.

How is the fishing in Horsefly Lake in the summer? I had no luck there last summer , but the beer was cold , the weather was HOT and the scenery was beautiful.

I honestly don't know how they bite in the summer. I am too busy chasing rainbows. ie; rainbow trout. The char are caught on almost anything. It is just the luck of the draw. Everything from a 2 inch ice jig to a 6 inch len thompson red and white. Try to find stocked lakes in your area. You might be pleasantly surprised.
