Heard Peggy Parker, Executive Director, of HANA on CFAX 1070 newstalk radio
this morning between 11:05 and 11:30. This organization was formed in 1961
and represents the halibut processors. Interesting discussion but not much
relevant to the halibut allocation situation we are faced with. She did mention
catch statistics (estimates) for the 'commercial' recreational fishery - the lodges
and charters. Never heard her mention anything about the 'primary' recreational
angler - the tin boat angler in regard to catch data. Check out the audio if you
