G Loomis Crosscurrent 9’9” 10wt 3 piece rod with cloth holder and carrying case.
Ross Reel CLA #5 with ultra smooth drag and the power to stop those bigger fish like Coho, Chum and Chinook. I caught a couple monsters with this set up see below for a couple such specimens.
I think the rod cost $450
the Real goes for just under $300
Spooled onto it is a whole whack of backing and a fast sinking tip salmon line (t10 core) for getting that fly down deep. Paid $65

I babied this and fished it for maybe half a dozen trips, but I just bought my kid a dirt bike and I’m looking to pay off a few bucks we didn’t have to get it.
