Furuno 1623 Radar

Does anyone have the Furuno 1623 Radar? I'm thinking of buying one and would appreciate some feedback?

As a stand a lone radar...you can't go wrong..
Had one on the last boat and loved it..

Thanks for the replys. I have a Lowrance LCX37C sounder/gps that I could add the radar dome to but was thinking it would be better to have a seperate stand alone radar. In case the one unit went out I'd at least have something to find my way back with.

Hey Slabby, I've got a LCX 37c and a 1623 radar and love em both. The 1623 is good performance and simple to use. While the interconnectivity of all a Lowrance system would be nice, for safety reasons I like to have a separate radar.
