Selling my 99 250 ox 66 Yamaha engine.
Ive owned and ran the engine for nearly 3 years. She is well loved and running well.
came in on the boat from USA.
freshwater engine and it shows.
Hours are estimated to be 500 by previous owner.
I’ve put give or take 200 hours on this motor
Running ring free and stabilizer on every fill religiously.
Runs to Nanaimo from north arm regularly.

Just an independent review, these 0X66‘s appear to be workhorses that can handle 3000+ hour's but they are thirsty, have the added cost of burning 2 stroke oil and are louder than a four stroke. A buddy of mine had his blow up on him, threw a rod but I don’t think it’s too common from the reviews on these engines on the internet.

Lots of info online about these engines being bulletproof with the right maintenance!
great engine for someone here!
She had no problem pushing my 232!!
