Pattison billboards and all.

In the wake of news that ISA-diseased farmed salmon is being processed for human consumption, Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore residents have launched a bold new billboard campaign designed to educate consumers about the possible health risks associated with eating open pen farmed salmon.

Put that through a copy machine X 10,000 and fan them across North America

The Billboard is interesting but take a look at the Website – Impressive and lots of info and links. Worth spending some time looking around it. These guys are organized.

With that kind of pressure one wonders how long those open net pens can last on the East Coast.

What does the Pattison sign underneath it mean. Did jimmy pay for that?

We should see if Jimmy would let a group of us pool our money and rent one of his billboards for a Halibut ad stating how unfair the quota system is.

pure irony eh?? the man gets his cash even from groups that are opposed to his businesses,, wow.

Jimmy P isn't involved in fish farms is he...?
If he isn't maybe he could be an ally. The commercial sockeye fleet should be an ally for sure they are effected the most if sockeye smolts are effected by fish farms which is highly likely.

How many fishing oppurtunities have commercial sockeye fishermen lost because of fish farms? It's their livelihood that's being effected so somebody else can make a buck.

Jimmy owns a lot of herring liscences. I'm just guessing, but I think he is connected to the farm feed end of things.
