Just purchased a new boat in July and was outfitting it. West Marine will match any price from their US website http://ecatalog.westmarine.com/
I bought a Lowrance 525 advertised at $649.00 US- $839.00 Can , then got the gold card for $199.00
Also got an Icom radio for considerably less. They will check on their computer at the store to verify what the price is, and then match the price, quite a savings.
To take it a little further if you just purchased your boat (or say you did) you can apply for a card for 10% off everything except electonics which is 5% off. Which they honored on my purchases.
net $190 for the gold card and $616 for the Lowrance 525 plus taxes.
I am looking for a prawn puller if anybody has heard of any deals.
