Deal on vacuum sealer bags

Wells Can in Burnaby has a 2 for 1 deal on vac bags. I got 2 double packs of 8” x 20’ long rolls for $32. That’s a little over half of what the comparable food saver bags sell for. They also had some pretty impressive vac sealers in their show room.

I went there to get hot sauce bottles, because they were quite a bit cheaper than Amazon or U-Line (go figure). They have tons of goodies if you’re into canning or preserving food.

Damn I’d be afraid to go there id likely walk out of there with a chamber sealer .
My vac sealer is on its way out I need a new one . Any recommendations? Not sure I can justify 2+ k for a chamber sealer I don’t catch that many fish !! 😂

But one of the chamber sealers from Vevor , many of us are waiting to see what they are like. About a third of the cost of a VP 215

It's hard to beat the convenience and comparatively low cost of Cabelas Replacement Vaccuum Sealer Bags:
• 6" x 10" – Per 100 - $21 = 21 cents per bag
• 8" x 12" – Per 100 $33 - 33 cents per bag
• 11" x 16" – Per 100 $52 - 52 cents per bag
• 15" x 18" – Per 100 $67 - 67 cents per bag

That's a good sale price.

I recently got 1000 of the 8" x 12" delivered from Halford's for $302.00, taxes and shipping included.

Foodsaver shrink machines are like lazer printers - the machine is cheap but the over-priced consumables add up in a hurry. The pre-cut bags with one end sealed are handier and cheaper.
