Cowichan Chum and Coho Opening.

No Steelies this year - seiners must have picked them all up with the big chum opening. Best to stay home and not waste your time on this river.

What a bunch of bull...! This river fishes well and lots of fun can be had there. If you just come here to throw a load of garbage at us then pack it in real quick!

Well put Calmsea! A little early for any real oportunities for Steel on the Cowichan , but there should be one or two around already. My earliest in 22 years of fishing the river pretty hard was Dec 14th.
