Tee-Off time at the local green. And he made it.

Incident occurred out at Sproat Lake. CO's hunting for yet another in the same local...

One of 4 dispatched in the overall area (Ukee etc) in the past week.

Ya that cougar was in the exact same spot giving people trouble on the labourday weekend. Lots of young kids and pets in the area. Was only a matterof time.

I like those animals but I wish they would stick to their own remote territory Got to do what u got to do.

That's the thing with all animal/fish species.....they go where the easiest food is.....

Deer on the island roam with wild abandon through the suburbs nowadays.

They used to spook at the sight or noise of a vehicle....now they could care less most times as they graze nonchalantly
on whatever they can get their bi-cuspids on.
And there are LOTS of deer around. I drive at night to get to and from work...I travel 50K each way.
At night they are grazing all over the place......but not out on the highway....most of 'em are near or in town.

So it's no surprise we're seeing a lot more Cougars in close to human habitat.
