Wow that's one heck of a site.
Just did some comparing with BWD and it seems they are very close.
Will be adding that site to the toolbox that's for sure.
Like how it has info for west coast and up north.
Two thumbs up.
I've noticed that while this website looks cool, and seems like it should be useful, it's not remotely close to correct wind speeds. If you click on the green circles which are suppose to represent weather stations, they don't match what Environment Canada, (or even Wundermap), reports for speed. Direction maybe, but speed not so reliable .
Looks like they've also added swell predictions plus wind waves.
About accuracy -- last night BWD said that at 5pm Oak Bay was to see 20kt winds. Windyty indicated that the stronger winds wouldn't start to hit until closer to 8pm and they were dead on correct. Only one data point in one location but did show their model is a good tool in the tool kit.
