Converting old flashers to "breakaway"

I found this old (2011) post of mine on Bloody Decks, but it relies on having the Q-cove harness. If you have a
3-d printer, you can make the pins. Don't know how useful this post is...if you have a Q-cove harness, you're set for the conversion, costs about 20 cents per flasher to convert. Now that !-Cove is out of business, I doubt whether you can find the harnesses online anywhere.

Good option for any 11 inch flasher. No mod required.

I like the looks of that, no need for cutting out the bottom ring, but most especially no need for the Q-cove harness, which is
probably impossible to find now, as they've been out of business for quite some time. Will give that one a try.
