How to Enter:
Email info@pacificrimfishingcharters.ca a photo of your favorite outdoor activity before August 11 2011. Have your family and friends “like” our page and type “vote” in the comment box below your photo. Contest opens for voting August 5th and will close at 9am August 25th.

The Prize:
1 night accommodations at the Pacific Rim Guest Lodge for 2 people as well as a 1 day (8hr) chartered fishing trip on our 28ft Pacific Sunset boat for 2 people. Anytime in September 2011

Not trying to spam just get our name out there to like minded fishing people who might be interested in what we offer. :)
 
I have no problem with charter guys offering free trip contests. Lots of the major contributors to the site who guide offer up reduced last minute openings or good deals for promo. The key part is that they don't just come on the site to promo their business. These guides contribute with many updates as to what the fishing has been like. The most helpful ones offer up gear tips or new innovative ways that they are using to catch fish. Ironoggin is a great example of a guide who is always willing to contribute info on gear and techniques that work around Uki. I'm sure it has gained him a lot of business because he has such a great reputation on this site.

Take an example from him and start contributing info here on aregular basis and that will gain you a lot of good will. That is the best free advertising, guys will soon warm to you and your bookings will increase. Making your first post on the site a business pitch often turns guys off. Contribute in positive ways and you will be repaid many times over.

Thank you TheBigGuy.....we just found this forum yesterday and plan on being a part of it and posting what knowledge we have. Thank you for the advice and support.
