Capilano Hatchery Announcement by Fisheries Minister at the Hatchery on October 3rd

There is an announcement by the Fisheries Minister at the Capilano Hatchery in North Van at 11 am NOW 10AM on Friday October 3rd. A good turn out will be a good thing. The announcement involves the future of the Capilano Hatchery so anyone interested should consider coming to this .

An early arrival is recommended so that you are there prior to announcement.

that is great news but why does Snootli creek get 60% of the funds? Never even heard of it, what makes it so special?

It is near in proximity to the proposed Northern Gateway route..

Likely a peace offering to the FN in that area.

Fortunately that area is near Hakai Pass, so big salmon turf!
