Black Box

When I check the wire's on my elc, Downriggers with a volt meter one side reads the same as the black box but the other side is off. 585-685. When i adjust the box both downriggers readings will move.Any Idea's will be helpfull ,I know some guy's will say switch to braid but the black box came with the boat and i want to give it a good try. Both sides seem to fish the same. Thanks

Try cleaning all conections and look for a brocken wire between the box and where it sits on the line. What i do when that happens is just run a new wire from the box to the rigger job done.

I change my blackbox wires and my hull bonding wires every year to prevent mid-season grief.
