Considering a set of the V6 sea pros. Curious if anyone has experience with these engines?
I've run the 200 yam and Suzuks which arguably don't offer much difference in performance over their 150hp siblings (same blocks and all), especially in the mid rpm ranges we operate them.
I wouldn't mind saving the $$ upfront going with the 200 seapros instead of stepping up to the larger displacement 225 Zuks or V8 mercs. That being said if the added displacement of the V6 merc over its 4 cylinder counterparts doesn't translate into proportionally more mid rpm torque than I'm better off spending the money upfront and saving it longterm on fuel and engine lifespan. Anyone have any relevant experience?
