Salmon anglers continue to get good news from forecasts

More Columbia River salmon forecasts have come to light and if the numbers pan out, anglers could see improved ocean and in-river fisheries this coming summer.

Forecast looks good. Also heard BC numbers are best looking in many years as well. Yahooo, can't wait for the summer!!! (This should be considered when looking at halibut as well... lol)
 
Have heard the same thing with next summer looking good. But it also came with a big but....the next 3 years after are not looking as good. So we were told to enjoy next year.
 
Yeah BUT.........Canada is still doing nothing to help our runs and our brother's off SVI will still get the shaft.

This reliance on US production of salmon is not sustainable IMO
 
2009 was a very good year. 5 years later 2014 promises to be good.
makes sense if the returns were good in '09
