Giver man. The motors could have been run right and looked after. The hours are low. Most of the stuff on the internet about Opti's blowing up etc. are few and far between. They might end up being great motors. You won't really know until you run them for a while. Good luck with it man.
The other good thing about Mercury is parts availability
. There is lot's out there and they are cheap compared to the Japanese motors.
