This engine is in very good shape. Comes with Tank and Hose. 135 135 Compression.
Fresh water use most of it's life.
New Impeller and Carb Cleaned 2 years ago @ M & P Mercury.
LONGSHAFT.
Starts, Runs and Performs as she should. On a 12 foot Aluminium Smokercraft she screams!
Cosmetically very good with mostly original phantom black paint and original decals.
I am the 2nd owner and have owned this engine 6 years. Always run in Merc. oils.
Timed correctly and with a properly set up carb, these engines have been shown to put out more than 9.8 HP...some documented as high as 12 horses.
$800 firm---great lightweight engine for your lake boat or aluminum in shore moocher!
