I'll just point out that this is a total unknown. We haven't been doing any antibody screening so we really have no idea how many people have been exposed...it could be 1% of the population or it could be 100%.

US prison studies have come back with high rates of exposure, no known vector of infection, 96% asymptomatic. If that turns out to be common (and I am not saying it will, only that it's a possibility) in the population at large, then for all we know exposure rates are extremely high already, and nobody has any way to know.

That is not necessarily an argument for doing one thing one thing or another...I am simply making the point that we have no idea what the exposure rates are, and we are only guessing about why BC has, essentially, no problem with C19. The theories about spring break timing, even the social distancing...these are theories. Quebec had greater social distancing compliance than BC right out of the gate, for example. The reality is that we don't know; we just guess and hope.

Are you serious ? The “second waves” are media hypes. Actuality look at the data again and see the influx or lack there of compared to any other previous pandemics in the places they claim a second wave has occurred ... come

Sad really wonder what was going on in the WHO boardroom meetings.

WHO should be ripped apart to figure out what was going on. Think they know far more

I am still asking all, even strangers, have yet to meet anyone who even knows any one who has it. Couple asked me same question yesterday at Home Depot. For all that believe, lockdown is working???? Person who loves this the most is mini King JT, hell he's burning money. OURS

Nobody has it now because of the lockdown you dumbass, shutting **** down worked. There going to start opening things up soon so you wont have to stand in line outside home depot soon hopefully.

Yes, people are getting sick. Look at the actual data!!!! This drives me nuts. People saying this shut down and destroying the economy is necessary. Only data that supports that is data that has been COMPLETELY wrong! Models that have over estimated the virus in every circumstance (low, current levels of restrictions etc). How can anyone not say this is over hyped?? I'm not saying that to **** people off...look at what was initially said even if we quarantined. If you're under 70 it is like the flu or similar...fact (again...quote a statistically insignificant amount that goes against that....and I'll show you just as many with other viruses at that age that have serious symptoms and are young)

At the end of the day we can kick and scream but the power lay with the Provincial Health officials, best thing to do is kick back don't stress out and wait for the cards to fall. They are starting a slow opening with an announcement tomorrow and hopefully that goes well over the next while so further restrictions can be lifted. If everyone follows direction and there is no spike the grip will loosen once again. Harsh part is many businesses will remain closed for good reason unfortunately for the good of the population at risk.

By all means show us the data that backup your thoughts. I know the last time you claimed that the models are all wrong I went and checked out the one for Canada and the one for Ontario and they seemed to be light on the deaths but were remarkably close on the cases. I even posted all the numbers with links to show you but you did not seem to acknowledge what I posted. Now your back with the same claim with no links. Did you think we would not notice or that we would forget?

Actually Ontario was 4x over on cases and 2X on deaths by April 30. This is fact. April 3rd model ... can look up that data via google.

I don't need to look it up I already did and I posted the facts. I think you are not comprehending the story that you just linked to. Reread it and keep these underlined points in mind.

If Ontario continues on its current trajectory with the physical distancing measures in place, the province will see 80,000 cases of COVID-19 and 1,600 deaths by the end of April.

Public health officials are going to add more measures, including:
  • Reducing the types and numbers of essential workplaces
  • Focusing on enforcing physical distancing rules with fines
  • Expanding physical distancing in the retail sector
  • Offering support for elderly, homeless and other vulnerable people and communities

So what they are saying is these new measures will get them to an outcome of 12,500 cases by the end on April.
The actual number was 16,187 but you would have known this if you read my reply to your post from a few days ago.

KJT is not burning OUR money, he is indebting us to individuals with money. We will pay this back through taxation or inflation.
