For any of your Parksville area folks, an actor buddy of mine is filming in Parksville for a few days in each of the next few weeks. He is there today and bitching at me via text that "there is nothing to eat in this f**king town"!! :p :p :p

Anyone have any recommendations; he has a very health per diem so price is not an object? He is currently wallowing away in his trailer eating trail mix he picked up at Save-On. :D:D

Two weeks ago we spent 3 nights at the Beach Club Resort and last Nov we also spent three nights at the same location. Ate lunches and dinners out the entire time.
The best pizza place is called Salt Pizzeria. thin crust, 900 deg oven and topping and cheese are top quality. It's take out and you have to get there early as they run out dough. Thin bubbly crust dough done in 3 minutes.
We tried a place called Chameleons and the food was excellent. I had lamb shank and my wife had beef ribs. limited seating of 12 tables so make a booking.
  • 1. Salt PIZZERIA.
  • 2. Chameleons.

The Rod and Gun Pub is in the center of Parksville's down town and has good food and great deals on food and beer.
I went on 1/2 price wing night and it was good and great service.

I had a great meal and time at the Sapphire Room at the Crown Mansion in Qualicum.
Wine is not marked up excessively and the room has unique charm.

The Bayside Restaurant & Lounge is good
