Yamaha transom saver service bulletin

I just got this from a friend who thought that it should be known if you have a Yamaha engine.

I thought I would pass this on.

Has any one have a Transom Saver, M-Y wedge or some other means of supporting your motor.

Looks like another thing to add to the list of things possibly needed for the boat

For trailering purposes I have a custom made wooden support that sits on the trim angle adjusting rod and holds the motor in place. To keep the motor from bouncing I use a couple of bungee cords. As far as the factory motor tilt supports go, I don't trust any of them for trailering.
