Yamaha T8 Lower Unit repair?

Hello,

I'm afraid I may have damaged the gears in the lower leg on my kicker. before I bring it to a dealer I thought I would check to see if there is independent mechanic that might be able to have a look. It's an '06 Yamaha T8. Coquitlam and surrounding areas.

may have a set for yeah as the lower shaft on the leg i have is toast but gears are all good
