I bought an old wooden boat about 10 years ago and have had it in storage. The boat was previously used on Mara Lake back in the 70's. It is cedar strip with brass dowlings.
Can anyone tell me anything about the boat? What is the likely vintage? Is there a style name that this would be? How seaworthy would it be?
The boats dimensions are 15' 2" long. Its beam at the widest point is 4' 2". The depth is 29" near the bow and 14" at the stern. As you can see from the pics, it has a square stern to run an outboard.
