Is Active pass or Polier Pass a good place to hunt for these fish .I can get to Active pass fairly quickly ...coming across the Georgia Straight in 20 minutes from Point Roberts area and to Polier in a but longer ... wondering if these area's are open for Chinooks and if anyone has tried fishing there and what would be the best baits to try. I remember back in the 70's-80's Active pass was very active for catching Salmon ...Any help woud be appreciated.
