Looking at this one specifically. Kind of the price point I was hoping for with the limited use it would get. Anyone tried it? $699 for the bigger one just isn't worth it to me. But neither is $299 for something that doesn't work...

I have what was the biggest and we are happy now that the antenna is mounted 12' up on the roof of the motorhome. Still wasn't good enough 150' asl French beach above fish boat bay, Jordan river area, maby the odd text or US signals at night.

I read your post on the wifi booster post and I wouldn't say they are **** but...
Traveling around Arizona etc we might be parked somewhere with a flickering one bar signal and it would improve the signal to maby a flickering three bar. Two bars and and you would typically get a four or five bar signal. It really helps with the voice cut outs during a call and being able to pull in data however you do need to start with a signal.
