just purchased a lowrance elite 7hdi,
Thanks Brutus it was good chating with you as well.
is there any way to transfer waypoints and routes from the navionics iphone app to the chartplotter unit
I've done the lowrance elite 7 hdi update already but having trouble grasping the process of transfering waypoints and routes if its even possible

Not familiar w the iphone app - but can you get the iphone app to export data as a *.gpx file? That's the standard export filer for waypoints/tracks....

If the app it doesnt directly export files - maybe you can export through your Navionics account online? Failing that - you could run both your iphone and sounder on the boat at the same time - and re-enter your waypoints on your plotter when you reach them on your iphone?

Yes it is possible. You can also transfer waypoints from the Navionics website to your app and to your Lowrance (or Raymarine). They all "talk" together with what is called Plotter Sync. To do it you have to connect your phone to the wifi on the unit and sync the data. One thing that I didn't see you mention is a Navionics card with a current subscription in your Lowrance. This one requirement to be able to do this.

Learn more here: https://www.navionics.com/usa/charts/features/plotter-sync

Lowrance HDS Carbon, HDS Gen3, Elite Ti, Simrad GO, GO xse, NSS Evo3, and B&G Zeus3 and Vulcan models are compatible with Plotter Sync provided they have the most current software installed.

Plotter Sync is compatible with Raymarine MFDs a, c, e, eS and gS Series from 2011 using LightHouse II release 10 or newer software, with Axiom & Axiom PRO using LightHouse III v3.3 or newer, and the Dragonfly PRO.
