I need a 6 foot Seastar Steering Hose. Seastar only sells them in pairs so maybe someone has an extra ? About $200 for the pair, and don't really need 2 !
I am in Chemainus.. 250-252-0888

Chemainus auto parts should be able to build you one

I'm sure I'll regret posting this on this forum but FYI you can safely use air line's. We built a 2 helm system and I used air lines for everything that is inside the boat. I did buy the Seastar hoses for the 2 lines running from the rear helm out to the hydraulic cylinder. I live in Ladysmith if you want to see what I've done. Another option that I considered is Bumper to Bumper in Ladysmith can build hydraulic hoses but if I remember correctly I was going to have to use a bunch of adapters which I wasn't keen on. The other choice was The Harbour Chandler sells individual hoses at $89 a pop. That's too rich for me considering the number of hoses that I needed.

Cheers,
Brian

Thanks for that Brian, but my boaty techie says that Seastar products have a unique thread on the fittings, both male and female, so even the Hyraulic specialist in Duncan could not do it. So I bought a set from Anchorage and now have an extra, if anyone ever needs one.
