I'm looking for a running 1990 vintage Merc 4.3 V6.

i have one that's stripped down needing a rebuild .
will need oil pump / rings as risers let go and i got water in the top rings
but it never let go .....
its a 4bb model with std coil and FWC system
also had a new steel pan on it
$200 and its all yours
pick up only ....

Sounds like a good deal but more work than I'm looking for

run over the boarder and have a crate engine sent up
5-7k US gets you a new turn key ....
i sort of got lucky but with a used one but still had issues and long term
it would have been cheaper and better piece of mind to get new.

don't forget if you go new you mite as well do a new leg as well.

a worn out 4.3 v6 user....lol
