Volvo duo props

This is for the Volvo gurus
I have a Volvo 280 duo prop outdrive with
B5 props that are slightly too big I'm not
getting my WOT.My question is it possible to use
type D4 props to get that little extra RPM that
I need and will these props fit my drive.

I believe thats how it works from what ive been told lower the number lower the pitch where are you located at??? I do have a spare set of B4s you could try if your in my area??? but mine is a 290 leg maybe someone on here knows if thats ok if a 280 and 290 can interchange??? IFL???

thanks for the opportunity to try your props but I would like to now if
it's possible to use type D props instead of the type B. What size props are you using?
I believe our boats are similar,you have the King Fisher and I have the
26FT sedan I'm in Vic

Ive got a 26 ft sport fisher hourston maybe phone a dealer and see what they say or even don at west isle marine in sydney he will be able to shed some light on it even better ive got 2 sets one on the boat now and a spare, let me know as ill be willing to help you out.

I've already talked to Don, he couldn't give me a straight answer as he wasn't sure.
Called a marine shop talked to a mechanic he didn't know. I'll try calling a few
more places on Monday. I may still take you up on your offer that is very kind of you.
The boat has been sitting idle for the past 6 or 7 weeks I'm trying to build a
shelter for the boat and camper and shes been slow going to say the least
