visited the island

Just thought i'd say hello.Just got back from the island. we drove to port hardy,back to sooke took 3 days.the inside was like a lake,sooke was choppy.didnt see a sigle boat fishing ?Mr.wolf are the charters shut down for the winter or do they fish for blackmouth .Our seaon is done this month .It was quite the sceanery.

Usually by mid sept.the charters start to drop off and I really have had enough by that time too ill start again after hunting season here for some winter springs going away to sask. soon for whitetail deer thats my vacation going somewhere where ill freeze my you know what off but hey its sask.and theres some huge deer there.

Yes, born and raised in Alberta I miss the bird hunting. Too restricted the areas are now, everythings posted. Cant do this, cant do that. Wish I had a nice grain fed Canada for X Mas though.
