hey all,iam going to be going out to vernon to visit some familly and was wondering if there are any good lakes,rivers or streams that are good fly fishing. if so how big are the fish? species?...oh yah i will be going sometime closer to summer.thankyou.
 
Not sure what kind of vehicle you have, however if you have a 4x4, would suggest you try Oyama Lake. Road can be rough at times, however once there the lake has some nice fish in the 4-5 lb range. Presume you have a boat. There are lots of lakes in the area and would suggest you call a local sports shops like Surplus Herby's (250-545-9820)and/or Fishers Hardware (250-542-4321) once you are here. Have a great time.
