Went out with a couple buddies from the valley to see if we could wrangle up a spring on the Vedder this Tuesday. Saw lots of schools of sockeye on the way up the canal and one spring swim by but the only bites were from rainbow trout on the blue and chartreuse kwikfish. Tried pulling plugs as well as bar fishing with no luck. Weather was awesome and it was a treat to go for a dip in the gin clear water after a day of baking in the sun and washing lures.
