Well that's the price on the website maybe they're cheaper in the store.
Hand made items are always pricy and few people make any real money selling them.
I was just wondering if the talk about them being a hot Salmon lure is true.
As I said they don't look like much at all but then again either does the velcro.

A friend of ours and fulltime guide had one presented to him early last year. At that time they were marketing them with some sort of incentive that the first run of fish caught using them could result in a refund of money laid out. Don't remember the exact details on this.

Must say this fellow is a cracker-jack fisherman. Dragged it around on several trips early last season without a hit. Swapped sides, different depths, blah, blah, blah...Nothing.

Think it now is an ornament hanging on his boat.

Lots of times humans are no better off than the quarry of their pursuit...Just look at all the bright and shiny stuff inside a fisher-persons tackle box. We get hooked in all the time! <img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>

BTW. They are pretty.

Some like it rough...
Others just puke!.

I tested them two years ago and tested some new ones that Bob Hunt (owner) gave me last year.
I would say they should be considered a small flasher (not a spoon)(not a plug) and it's the hootchie on the end that caught the fish.
I've caught some decent ones with them, but at 25.00 plus retail, you sure don't want to loose too many.
They do work sometimes, but I favour lures that are more consistent.
Looks very nice on the Christmas tree though,in the green and red ones.

Yes, and the outfit is my own.
I charter guests from the Campbell River/Comox areas to Port Alberni and Nootka Sound in June to August, Browns Bay from Sept. to November, and on the inside the rest of the year.
I guess you could say I work for my wife, when she's home. And then she lets me be boss when I'm by myself.......
