Third Vedder River Cleanup July 10th

due the rise in number of campers as we enter the peak of this summer, the Chilliwack Vedder River is once again being littered by those so-called "nature lovers".

Because of continuous littering in parking lots, gravel dykes, trails and certain popular overnight campouts, anglers will once again lose as all recreational users will be denied easy access into these spots when local residents demand for closures.

To make a difference, we urge members of this forum to join us once again for our third group Vedder River Cleanup on Saturday July 10th. Note for this cleanup it is on a Saturday, not a Sunday. Volunteers will meet between 9:30am and 10:00am for sign-up, and we'll be our on the river from 10:00am until 1:00pm for the cleanup.

So, to sum up the details once again:

Vedder River Cleanup
Saturday July 10th
10:00am to 1:00pm
Meet at Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve (southern foot of Sumas Prairie Road)

Thanks Rodney for the info.unfortunatly i live in Campbell River and have no way of getting up there.im workin on organizing a Campbell River cleanup in the next few weeks, just for a couple hours.spread the word<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
