Do I need a steelhead stamp on my fresh water licence ?I wish to continue to fish vancouver island lakes and many of the lks have ocean going and returning trout and char.Seems I see a need and will purchace a stamp for the 19/20 year.knowing the steelhead are around. I wouldn't wan't problems.100 lakes off limets without the conservation stamp on your licence.

It would appreciated if you would not abuse those kelts in that lake too much.

We have put a lot of effort over the last 20 years to keep that tiny run alive.

If you are targeting steelhead you need a Stamp,
I would agree with Fish Tofino - Targeting summer steelhead kelts is not the most ethical of fishereis - in any location, IMPO.
