Squid in Nanaimo.

Well it's finally done, I got some squid off the bordwalk in Nanaimo. It was 1130 at night but I got 3 befor I went home for the night. I'll try again next week.

There has been people fishing for squid off the docks at bear cove in Port Hardy this summer.

As a kid on Quadra Island we used to take squid jig's and our trout rods down to the gov't dock at night (11 or midnight) on the weekends. Plug in the industrial/construction light into a socket with the extension cord and point it at the water and watch the squid school up. Used to catch a half of an ice cream bucket worth and dad would turn them into calamari during the summer. So good.

Funny you say that. Jus seen a massive group of squid out off the gov dock in granite bay a couple days ago.
