April/May are usually the best time for fast Salmon action in the Vancouver area with Spring Salmon feeding heavily in advance of their one-in-a-lifetime swim up the Fraser.
This year the bite seems to have started early with steady action in the top third of the water column.
Lures?
Use your faves they all work-bait to become more popular as the short season progresses.
The time to be out there is <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>NOW!!!<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

So, what's the latest info? I here some springs have been caught off the QA. I'm going out tomorrow. I think I'll also try for prawns near Passage Island (for the fist time).

Remember, it's called "fishing," not "catching."

Hey Mr. D

It was kinda windy on Saturday so like a few other boats I fished Point Cowan / Seymour Landing area, but there was no action. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

However, I did come home with huge prawns. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
