I`m new to this site and while browsing the tips section, I read the article by Wayne Moss. In it he twice mentions that the bend of the hook is going the same direction as the dish on the bottom of the spoon. If not the hook will counteract the dish of the spoon and it won`t swim properly. Is he talking about single hooks only, or does it matter with trebles also.

I have found that I have better hookups with two points on the bottom and one on top.

He's talking about Saltwater Spoons-thin bladed trolling ones.
They are best fished with a single hook.

In theory "The hook bend " with the curve makes for a few less hang ups as it is pointing up away from the bottom as the spoon swims through the water, with the rounded side out towards the bottom ~~~~~"In theory" Agree or disagree <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>
