I have very little experience, other than trying once. Dried the crap out of it, and as close to inedible as fish gets. [xx(]
I think it has no natural oils to make it chewy, like salmon, so a much lighter brine and lighter smoking time is in order. Probably cold smokes better, but I'm not proficient at that.

I tried it once and it really dosnt work very well like juan said and i was being very picky it just goes to fast to dry it was a real waste as i was not impressed at all.
Better to get it professionall flash frozen and vaccum sealed it lasts a very long time then.
