Same old canucks from past couple years. 6-3 in third and dont get a point.

Lol 6-3 didn’t happen much in past years. But yeah that’s a brutal loss. 5 unanswered goals. Malkin put himself offside too and the other player may have also been offside but not much we can do about it now. Now off to edmonton to take on mcjesus and draisaitl which is never fun.

That debacle was a coaching loss. When you're up 6-3 in the 3rd you go into a lock down mode. He should have called the time out when they were up 6-3 and given everyone their shutdown assignments. Very frustrating, my june Canucks party is cancelled again

Great team game for the Canucks this evening in Ed's barn. Horvat skated miles and the team to a man was ready with a days rest. MRWood the June party I will assume is back on for now. Lol.

Will be interesting to see how the game goes, back to back against the Coilers. Home after a 6 game roadie, hoping there isn't a let down.

Put Erickson back in the press box. Two stupid penalties and Oilers win a game Canucks should have had. Canucks not a playoff team yet, strong draft year, time to tank one more year!

Canucks had their opportunities early but in the 3rd the schedule as the commentators mention did the damage. Short bench and missed Edler on the left side when penalty killing. Effort was there for sure but our 6 million man LE had a disappointing night is an understatement. On to Ottawa with hopefully a day off tomorrow.

Canucks, Edmonton and Calgary all got hammered with the schedule maker for away games this year. Unbalanced compared to the rest of the league and the Canucks should at least have had a couple days rest before facing Ottawa tomorrow. Not sure what lobbing the Pacific division GM's can do but really.

9 of their next 12 at home to finish out the calendar year. Big chance to put themselves on more solid footing for the playoffs. 6-3-3 would be an attainable and solid outcome.

That would put them at 19-14-7 to start January. I think anyone would have taken that before the puck dropped on this season.

That said, its gonna come down to the last game or two of the season whether they make it in our not.

Re - upcoming draft. Tampa Bay has our 1st round pick, with the condition - if the Canucks fail to make the playoffs in 2019-20, their first round pick moves to the 2021 draft for Tampa Bay. That provides some protection for the 2020 draft, which is expected to be very strong, if the Nucks do slip out of the playoff race.

Then again, there is their history of only LOSING ground in the lottery.

Great tribute and well deserved for the Dragon Slayer last night. The team was inspired for the first period anyway.
Liked the push back when Stecher was steam rolled by Tkachuk. Fantenberg stepped up and Green sent MacEwen over the boards and boom. The Burrows spark. Team seems to have good character and care about each other.

Another game another blown lead. The Canucks looked great protecting that lead in the last two minutes, standing around letting Buffalo do as they pleased! They get fortunate in OT but they just cant protect a lead.
