Rub Rail Replacement Kit

Anyone know of a good place to get a Rub Rail Replacement kit? I've seen the ones that Taco sells at Westmarine but for $400 for 50ft of plastic, I'd like to take my business elsewhere.

Have a cool winter restoration project of my in-laws '70s era Hurston runabout that is turning out pretty good. Stripped and sanded it down, replaced a bunch of fittings, new paint is now on and it cleaned up very well. I'll post some pics when she's done -- rubrails and windshield replacement are the last two major areas to address.

I would try Hourston themselves they might be able to help you.

I rebuilt my Double Eagle last year and ordered mine on-line along with other hardware it was WAY cheaper then West Marine.

What size of Hourston did you restore? I did a 26 footer myself

In Nanaimo I try to buy all my boat hardware from Harbour Chandler. Local owned and great prices and service in my opinion.

F#$%^n rub rails on my striper was a ridiculous amount of money to repair. The strips could only be ordered in specific lengths and they were not cheap. I only needed a bit but ended up having to wrap the whole boat. What a scam!
