Respect the narrows

easy, there are alot of idiots like I was in small boats that had no clue of the risks there (or even bigger boats for that matter - think the last time I went there years ago, a 24' was swamped just the day before). First hand visuals like this may help those that have never been there appreciate that it isn't a cake walk getting through and they will think twice before trying to make it :)

Thats the narrows between Nitnat lake and the ocean

LOL nedarb...... beat me by 7 seconds

don't think it was a guide - was a dad with his daughters [V]

It can be crazy big in there. I've seen it upwards of 25'

If you are not confident don't try it. Go with an experienced runner first time round. Deal is though that any given day is differant from the next.

someone should make a youtube video of the road to Nitinat ,now THAT'S scary...

Ebb tides, afternoon winds creating big surf waves, tide changes right in front of the Nitinat Gap....YIKES![:0][B)]
