Recommendations for cheap topside paint for aluminum boat

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good cheaper paint for the topside of an aluminum boat( nothing below the waterline). Have a 16ft aluminum boat to paint with some bare aluminum spots but don't want to shell out big bucks for paint and primer!

rattle can primer and rattle can paint, cheap and done.

Etch with something before priming. I have used vinegar with good results. You can buy other etchers.

Riveted or welded? Have you considered a wrap? It's not bad to DIY.
