Quick question - Trail Islands off Sechelt

I am renting a little place for a couple days at the end of July, and will have a Kayak to fish out of and would like to pull some cutties around Trail Islands. Does anyone know if this in an RCA or is it open? I can't find anything on the DFO site. Thanks

Cant really help on the fishing, but the correct name for these islets are the Trial Islands, not Trail Islands

Trail Islands off Sechelt is not in an RCA. Trial Island is off Victoria/Oak Bay.

As for cutties, you might do better off Wakfield Creek or Sargent Bay.

Thanks Ken, I didn't think so bought I thought I would check. Have you ever had any luck at Trail? And by pulling cutties I meant fishing cutplug herring with a 6oz weight off the kayak, not looking for cutthroat.

Worth a shot WIWF1, lots of migratory schools go by there, you never know. Have to release Lings in this area, although not a RCA.
