IMG_20180403_144435.jpg Please! Looking for opinions.. 225 Optimax on a 22.5 Fiberform with a pod. I put a new leg on it so I don't have a prop yet and the propeller calculators are all over the place. Looking for a good place to start..
thanks, Bill

I sent a prop pitch request to Canada propeller https://canadapropeller.com/ and the guy phoned me back. Being from out east I don't think he knew what a podded boat was however suggested staying closer to 14" diameter as he said they don't like the 15" and larger props. However I don't think I mentioned my gear ratios is 1.87 to 1 and not 1.75 to one and that might be the reason he said that as he was suggesting 19" to 21" pitch. After compiling every recommendation I could find on the internet I think I'm just going to bid on some of those auction propellers in different diameters and pitches and see what works. I have a feeling most of them are going for $10 to $25 each.

I'm bidding on a 14.5x18 4b and a 14x20 4b. 15/17, 14.75x17 stainless, 14 1/4x19 stainless. 14.875x15, 14.25/21, . Start bids 10 to 25.
